      So to make the device, I need to make artificial neurons. Humans have about 16,000,000,000 neurons in total. Cats have about 760,000,000 for example.
      So to build up a brain, it is more likely to make one that more closely resembles other animals first.

      There are also hundreds of different types of neuron as well that make up a brain and each animal has a different number of each type.I focus on only a couple of these functions and types.

      Many of the diseases we have as humans, other species get too. So it can be used in the same way to help animals as well.

      A lot of that work would be done by other types of scientists and to work together to create the most useful devices.
