I actually don’t see myself as an engineer often.
I studied Physics because I was good at Maths and I wanted to do something with it that was helpful to society. I also have always been intrigued by the very small – quantum and particle physics. So that’s why I chose nanotechnology to specialise in.

When I was very little I wanted to be a Teacher, a Barrister, or a Forensic Scientists (or Cinderella) but I didn’t know about all the other cool jobs out there -just the ones on TV.
